The Safety Kids, Playing It Cool

Did anyone else listen to the Safety Kids when they were wee? You know, before you were interested in Madonna or NKOTB or Tiffany, but after you were interested in Raffi. They popped into my head recently - this vinyl album that taught us  not to talk to strangers, even though we already knew that. I still remember a couple of the tunes, just snippets here and there. I'm pretty sure my fave was the song that went, "no, no, no, no, NO!" Nothing like screaming "no" at the top of your lungs when you're 6 and taught to use your indoor voice at any other time.

And check it - you can still order the album! In CD form, not vinyl anymore, alas.

ETA: On second thought, after listening to the clips, this was not post-Raffi material. It's funny how you can remember something being a lot cooler than it realistically was, you know?
