Yes, Tis Me!
The best rubber boots I ever owned were red (of course). They had a big smiley face on the bottom and I never took them off. These were also the last pair of rubber boots I've ever owned, but I think, going on 23 years later, I need to find myself a replica pair.
Work Julie passed me by with the fiercest pair of rubber boots yesterday, and told me to rush over to Get Outside cause there were slim pickins for sizes. This place had at least 8 different patterns of rubbers - so adorable and perfect for a slushy-going-on-rainy early spring. But in the end, since I'm trying to save money for ~*~future plans~*~ and ~*~paying rent~*~, I left empty handed. No puddle stompin' for this girl!
But things got way better. I stopped in at Fresh for lunch and the soup was curried yam and apple. OMG. I know some people (Lila) are making puke faces right now, but that's like a dream soup for me. Paired with their corn bread, I'm ready to die, thank you. (May not be true). AND THEN, I pulled out my dusty gift card and there was still enough balance to buy my lunch! Cha-ching!
Waiting for my order, I noted the cute re-usable bags on the wall. Lots of bright colours and nestled in a tiny pouch, to boot. They're called Baggu - I totally bought one and am excited to have the freedom of carrying it in my purse. I never get to really use my re-usable grocery bags cause most of the time I stop at the store on my way home from work or whatever. Now, I'm prepared for anything (that relates to carrying food)!
